Why In-Ground Trampolines?
Inground trampolines remove the concerns of users falling from an above-ground system. Most above-ground trampolines are at least three feet high, which is why we always recommend a safety enclosure for above-ground trampolines.
It may seem silly, but putting a trampoline inground helps the environment as homeowners will no longer need to water that patch of lawn. For example, a 14’ foot round trampoline replaces about 150 square feet of lawn. That’s a lot of water saved over even just one watering season.
It looks good. We hear this a lot as well. Some homeowners prefer to see their trampoline blend into the backyard and not be the first thing people notice or see.
Wind resistance for areas with the strong seasonal weather, an inground trampoline is a must! Putting a trampoline inground will reduce the chance of it ever becoming airborne during periods of high wind.

Benefits of Octagonal Trampolines
Octagon Trampolines are sometimes preferred because they combine the best of both worlds that rectangle and round trampolines have to offer. The benefits of an octogonal trampoline are that they have a relatively even bounce, a larger surface area, and are safe to jump on.
Since they have more corners, they have a higher surface area for jumping than a rectangle trampoline, although a slightly lower surface area than the round versions. On the converse, since they have 8 straight edges, they have a more even bounce than the round trampolines and won't draw you in towards the middle.
This makes them a great choice for older teens and young adults as well as for those that want to obtain a good jump height without being directly in the center of the trampoline.
Octagonal Trampoline Sizes: How are Octagonal Trampolines Measured?
When deciding on the size for an octagonal trampoline, it’s important to know that the size and diameter is measured from the outer frame at a corner of the trampoline to the center. We carry 14ft, 15ft, and 16ft octagon trampolines. It's also important to know the frame size of octagonal trampolines in the event that you need to get replacement mats, pads, safety enclosures, or springs.
If you need to get a replacement mat for your octagon trampoline, you will need to know the frame size, the spring count, and the length of the springs. This is also true for the correct replacement pads where you will also need to know the width of your old pads. And finally you will again need to know the frame size if you need to replace a safety enclosure (along with the number of poles in your trampoline).
