The octagonal shape provides the surface area of a round trampoline, with the bounce of a rectangular trampoline.
The size of an octagonal trampoline is measured by the diameter of the metal frame (not the jumping surface) from corner to corner (not side to side). To find the diameter of your octagonal trampoline, start at the outer metal edge of the trampoline, at one of the corners.
